Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, Swiss night spot Supermarket was one of the go to spots to catch the best minimal artists from Romania and further afield. With the sad demise of events thanks to the pandemic outbreak it is with a huge sigh of relief to see that the club will be making a comeback with two parties set to blow the cobwebs away.
The grand reopening of Supermarket will be handled by in house party Bermuda on Saturday, June 6th where they will be welcoming back they’re fine array of resident artists. Having been responsible for anchoring one of the best clubs in the region Flavio, Marques Sigi, Rogi and Ca:milo & Anto will relish the opportunity to steer the sounds and the dancefloor for the entire night.
Next up on Saturday, June 20th is the return of Supermarkets favourite crew under the tree and they sure know how to start with a bang. Their first event after the lockdown period was always going to be a big event and for the special occasion they have brought into the fold one of minimal’s early protagonists – Luciano. Through his long running label Cadenza and close affiliation with fellow Chilean Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano has certainly played his part in helping to shape the scene that we now call home. Supporting Luciano is a firm favourite in the underground and also a Swiss raised and Zurich homeboy Alci. He will be joined by long time under the tree family member Romano Corsini. Of course, social distancing measures will be in force but we are very confident the same dancefloor magic and with the parties starting in the afternoon and running to midnight it will be a great opportunity to experience all areas of the refurbished club space.
