Following the first chapter of Mind Games Remixes, which brought together reinterpretations from Voigtmann, Cristi Cons, Mihai Pol, Alexis Cabrera and Evgheniia, the second part completes the picture with four more names, each putting their own spin on David Gtronic & Reboot’s iconic originals. Moving between techno, deep minimal and more stripped-back club territory, the second part continues the release’s focus on reshaping the originals while giving each producer enough room to leave their own mark.
We kick things off with LVCA’s remix of “Loose” on C2, our premiered track. An electro-infused synth line immediately sets the mood, joined by a repetitive vocal hook and vocoder samples that gradually intertwine.
“Chaos” gets a darker treatment from Evgheniia & Mathew Jonson on C1. Techno-leaning and slightly industrial in its character, the remix is driven by polyrhythmic synths and vocal elements that add another layer of tension.
On D1, Alci takes on “Orlando Bass” and turns it into a high-energy minimal roller. A dominant bassline keeps the track moving, while vocal effects appear throughout the piece, adding extra character without disturbing its stripped-down foundation.
Closing Part 2, Alex Celler’s remix of “What Are We Doing” takes a deeper and more minimal approach. The track is pared back to its essential elements, with unusual effects and carefully placed congas adding movement to the groove. Subtle, spacious and slightly mysterious, it provides a fitting end to the second chapter.
