Following on from the hugely successful and long running Warmcast mix series, this long line of fine selectors now comes Warm Lab. A unique twist to Saturday night in London where the action begins at the central location of PARADISE GREEN close by Liverpool Street tube station. The plush, yet tastefully lux nightspot aims to be the counterpoint between two contrasting worlds. The cut and thrust of the corporate world meets the creative subtleties of the clubbing world thus creating a unique amalgamation of both universes. The two worlds may not immediately be the perfect party partners, but the result is a heady concoction of interesting people, and that also goes for the delectable drinks that will be served throughout the evening.
Running every Saturday in the heart of London, Warm Lab and its long serving resident and host Dan Wab will be welcoming a range of visiting artists and selectors from the local area as well as further afield. Beginning at 5pm each week, the aim is to elevate your Saturday night with a smooth selection of stripped back beats from rising stars with its beginnings acting as a slick networking event that will soon transform into a fire breathing party. With London’s nightlife being a 360 experience, Warm Lab is the perfect way to start your night before exploring what else the city has to offer.
Warm Lab already has an action packed program in store for the coming weeks and March is looking like it’s about to warm up no end. With Dan Wab on support duties each and every week, firstly March 2nd will be N&O, an artist with some serious miles under his belt and the Valencia born name will be looking to add that special touch to Warm Lab. The following week on March 9th will be Romanian artist Obreja taking to the decks and having supported the likes of Lizz and Cosmjn, and who also has a slew of unreleased bombs up his sleeve ready to drop.
Hitting the midpoint in the month on March 16th and things are going to heat up. Joining Dan Wabb at Paradise Green this week will be Kazoku LDN resident and Singular Records boss Dkatt. As well as being instrumental in the undoubted success of Kazoku, Dkatt is a staple of the London underground scene the Spaniard can also be found closing out proceedings at clubbing institution Ministry of Sound.
Heading towards the business end of the month and March 23rd holds a special place in the hearts of Warm Lab as none other than Sunrise artist Lumieux. Having starred at Romanian must-attend spring / summer event Sunwaves for as long as we can remember, this extraordinary artist has starred all over the world. With deep roots in the London scene, Lumieux has recently been the artist in focus for London based outfit Into The Woods and has in the past starred at Goosebumps, fabric, and Paravibe.
Rounding out what is shaping up to be a huge month for Warm Lab March 30th is one of London’s brightest DJ’s – Elliot Timoti. One half of the Timoti brothers, Elliot like his brother and Ogenblik resident Matteo Manzini are disciples of long form performances, and over countless hours have honed their craft and sharpened their skills. This has meant Elliot has also been called upon to soundtrack many a party and the Warm Lab faithful are in for a treat at the last party of the month.
Entry is free of charge each and every week and more details can be found at the Warm Lab Instagram page.
