Miami is hot for the majority of the year but during the summer? Miami is one of the hottest places in the States and we don’t mean the temperature. UnMute alongside their usual party partners have clearly been working their ass off to ensure that Miami is the place to be this summer.
Having kicked off last weekend in earnest with Matthew Dear and DJ W!ld the party is back on and Romanian selector Gescu is in town. He is a regular at the likes of Sunwaves, Caprices Festival, and Festival in the Nature, and one look at some of his video highlights and it’s easy to see why. Joining him this weekend will be one of the dons of minimal Thomas Melchior. Constantly evolving and setting the bar high Melchior is a true legend and just pick any one of his alias for a turning point in underground music.
The following week on July 15th and there is an equally exciting proposition in Oshana performing. For anybody that has even remotely followed her output over the last few years will know that a DJ set from the Psionic boss will be overflowing with electro-tinged bombs. As well as this prospect, the next night will see the return of yet another Romanian this time none other than RPR member Rhadoo. Needing no introduction whatsoever there is little doubt that this is going to be one the highlights of the month.
The following weekend on July 23rd Miami will again receive its weekly does of fire and this time Frenchman Traumer will be dropping bombs. It has only been a few short months since he was last in town but who doesn’t want a second helping of Traumer? The last weekend UnMute will play host to a showcase from Ukrainian club Closer and then, to round out the weekend and the month on July 31st DJ Masda will be rocking up. So whether it’s a warehouse, rooftop, secret dancing space UnMute have you 100% covered in Miami this month.
