UK tech-house legend Silverlining makes his Romania debut on 11th March at Spatiu
Tehnic for “Spring Edition” event by Underground Office and Zebra Rec, a 12-hours journey into the depths of discerning electronic music in Bucharest.
It’s one of Underground Office biggest productions to date, and for this reason they decided to book for the first time in Romania London’s foremost underground talent Asad Rizvi aka Silverlining with an extended set. A regular at influential London clubs such as fabric, The Cause, The Lion & Lamb and more, Silverlining has been active in the capital’s electronic music scene for over two decades. In 2022, he released his long-anticipated debut album, Simulacra, a fitting snapshot into the Silverlining sound and one that was duly lauded by fans and critics alike.
Alongside the UK artist, the night will also feature local house hero Andrei Ciubuc. Ciubuc is beginning to earn a solid reputation overseas, he’s been signed up to the much-respected Sunrise agency for some time, and will feature at Sunwaves SW30 edition in April. The line-up is completed by residents Matt Hauser and jammBoy.
Hauser is he’s been based in London for some time, where he is fully involved in all things music related and where he has played alongside Pixzel, Half Baked’s Greg Brockmann between The Egg, The Glove That Fits and Coqbull Soho. He also represents in UK the Romanian booking agency Zebra. On warmup duties, Iasi’s jammBoy, the cofounder of Underground Office who is quickly earning a reputation in Romania beyond his .
To complete the bill, Pareidolia will be the creative force behind the visual landscape of the
upcoming event. With her unique blend of music and video, Pareidolia is one of the top talents in the industry, perfoming for Sunwaves and Club Guesthouse.
