With a wealth of experience throwing only the finest events the southern hemisphere has seen, Jody Coker of Essential Events Management brings to life his vision for a two-day festival on February 8th & 9th, 2025. The Nowhere Festival, which will be taking place at Cockatoo Island’s historical surroundings will welcome an esteemed list of selectors to Sydney.
The four-stage, 6,000-capacity gathering will feature renowned diggers Francesco Del Garda, DJ Masda, Christian AB & Quest, Mr G, as well as Detroit legends Moodymann and Carl Craig. The line-up really is a global affair with US veterans like Ron Trent, UK hero Paul Woolford, Particles (Jane Fitz & Marco Shuttle), and Berghain regulars in Marcel Dettmann and Tamo Sumo & Lakuti. It’s fair to say the debut year is definitely going large.
Furthering enhancing the musical offering, festival goers will be wowed with mind altering stage production and celebrated Sydney artist Danny Willians will be bringing a new piece of art to life over the course of the weekend. There will also be the option of camping at the Cockatoo Island’s award-winning urban campground with unbeatable views of Sydney Harbour. Accommodation packages range from pre-pitched basic tents to more premium furnished lodgings featuring all your favourite creature comforts. Make sure to keep tabs on this brand new venture as there is already plans afoot to bring this concept to UK, Dubai, and Barcelona.
One-day tickets start at $119 and a limited number of camping packages for weekend campers are also available. For those eager to secure their spot at February’s main event, early bird tickets go on sale very soon, with a pre-registration option available now for those keen to be the first in line.
This exclusive launch party is the opening chapter of the brand new two-day The Nowhere Festival that will take place in February 2025. Hosted by Essential Events Management, who have sold out the MCA’s rooftop terraces for 15 consecutive years, the two day curation is expected to be one of the most exciting additions to Sydney’s festival scene.
With breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour and a front-row seat to the infamous firework display, TNF’s launch party offers a premier destination to enter the New Year. Alongside Richards, a lineup of forward-thinking local artists will soundtrack the backdrop of the harbour’s lights, making this a truly memorable experience.
