The Ghost set to launch new record label GHOST RECS

Berlin-based duo The Ghost has emerged as one of the go-to vinyl heads around at the moment and this has been built up over more than a few years of serious digging and researching music of all genres. This has led the pairing of James Creed and Josh Tweek to set up their own mobile record store and The Ghost was born.

So, it might come as no surprise to hear that The Ghost have been prepping their own record label GHOST RECS and the honor of the maiden release falls to crew member DJ Pipe. Followers of this collective of selectors will have picked up DJ Pipes’s early release on associated label Small Hours back in September of last year. Also, featuring tracks from crew members Youandewan and Huerta who will both be sure to feature in some way shape or form over the coming releases from GHOST REC.

There is little more information at this point regarding the debut release but it will be landing in time for summer and of course the myriad of open-air parties that populate Berlin and Europe over the warmer months. You can catch The Ghost in and around Europe in the coming months at parties such as Mint Warehouse Reopening on Saturday, February 29th with Ricardo Villalobos, Planet Claire in Paris with Apollonia on Saturday, March 21st and then in Amsterdam’s hottest venue BRET for Undefined on Sunday, April 12th.
