Stump have been a staple of the London underground for many years, regularly inviting selectors from the minimal circuit for extended showcases.
True to their long sets and after-hour friendly formulas, the crew have gone all out for this 21-hour feast in East London. Spread across two venues, the weekend of 20th and 21st November welcomes Petre Inspirescu, Mihigh, Priku, and Suciu, as well as Stump regulars Cally, Thierry, Chrissy Hope and Kearun.
Sound is paramount for this collectives’ vision and tastes. Pushing intricate, refined beats that come to life on excellent sound systems, both venues have been selected with optimal conditions in mind. Both E1 and Fold host custom built Funktion-One systems and great monitoring that is conducive to bringing the best out of artists.
E1 will host the collective from 23:00-07:00 in their warehouse space, before heading to Fold from 08:00-20:00. This is a unique opportunity to experience the hypnotism this train of loopy, trance-inducing music in idyllic conditions.
Artists are free to experiment with extended sets, encouraging the magic, time-stopping effects minimalist dance music is capable of. Stump have been throwing this finely curated events for many years, last year’s marathon hosted Raresh, Cap, Mihigh and Arapu for a 24-hour session.
Mindful of the flow of the evening, artists are selected to compliment one another via considerate set times destined to bring magic to this long awaited affair.
