Taking advantage of the current worldwide lockdown situation Grego G, Stephane Ghenacia, and Alex Garcia have joined forces to create non-profit record label Giving. The label is intended to add support to Ibiza organisation Food For Ibiza that offers help to families living Ibiza that face difficulties.
This move is also designed to help preserve the magical island of Ibiza that is so close to the hearts of the artists involved in the project. As a result, the 90-strong group of artists has all contributed one track with all proceeds going to the worthy cause of Food For Ibiza. With the islands’ 2020 season being badly affected by the current pandemic this project will offer much-needed support to the people that call the island home year-round. There is a broad spectrum of artists involved in the project and just a small selection includes 2Vilas, Cesar Merveille, Djebali, Leo Pol, N-Gynn, Politics Of Dancing, Sweely, Yakine as well as huge superstars such as Sven Väth, Kerri Chandler, Jamie Jones and Solomun. So as well as a worthy cause being giving some great support the label will also be home to some amazing music – WIN-WIN.
The release is out on Sunday, June 21st via Bandcamp and various other download platforms.
