French collective Avalanche have become a pillar of the Parisian club scene and with the caliber of events that has become their benchmark it was only a matter of time before they outgrew club based gatherings. The result was the hugely popular MIMO Festival, taking place in the visually stunning Château de Quenet back in June and the three day event collected together 50+ artists to present the creme de la creme of the French scene in all its many electronic forms.
As you might expect, a project of this size is both emotionally and financially draining and it is the latter that has had the most impact on the group of visionaries. So much so, that in a heartfelt plea on the groups social media, the crew have announced that in order for them to realise their goal of a follow up event in 2024 they will need the financial support of their loyal community and you, the public.
In a bid to maintain the original vision for MIMO, the team have assessed the first edition and wishing to not repeat previous steps which led to financial woes, they have vowed to scale back certain areas of the project. While still presenting the best sounds that France has to offer in a historic and rural camping friendly setting, Avalanche have set out exactly where your donations will go.
So, if you would like to offer your support please visit their crowdfunding page for the full details of the project.
