After their last party at Le Trabendo another roadblock beckons for the Avalanche team. Looking to pick up where Distrikt Paris lynchpin Bassam, bad man producer Nathan Pinder, LVCA and Josh Baker left the Parisian night spot in their wake, there is a heavy weight selection of sonic assassins ready to blow the lid off of 2023.
To start the new year the way they mean continue only one of the best live acts will do and that is Data Memory Access. The combined live analogue power of Jacopo Latini and Giammarco Orsini has blown away dancefloors across the sphere and having personally witnessed the impact of their electro funk in Amsterdam back in October Paris is in for a treat.
Battling for top billing is Subsequent boss Voigtmann and there is no denying his credentials. Having brought in the new year with the Amsterdam crew and having played more than his fair part in our recent podcast alongside his fellow alien John Dimas as VO1GT.M4S we can only imagine what is going to go down. Binding it all together is the tour de force that is Avalanche Soundystem. Having bonded during their formative years the cold as ice Avalanche collective are straight out the blocks with a party worth taking note of.
Their club nights are something to cherish but they have something rather special come June as they will be launching their own festival – Mimo Festival. With three stages, 50 artists plus, a setting in where else but a chateau, and who knows what else that they can surprise us with across the weekend of June 2-4th. We will of course keep you posted on the finer details as soon as they are ready to be rolled out.
