With the 2020 edition of the much-loved Welsh festival Gottwood being put on hold until 2021 the crew behind the gathering have now decided to bring back their Gottwax label. After a 4-year break, the upcoming ‘Nottwax’ VA is designed to shine a light on the artists that they hold close to their hearts.
Gottwood’s program holds many genres in high esteem and this 30-track digital release perfectly exemplifies this diverse programming. Taking pride of place on the ‘Nottwax’ album is a slew of tracks from some of the biggest names in underground house, techno, and garage such as the first release from VOIGT.MAS, Margaret Dygas, Harry Wills, Sam Bangura, Anna Wall & Corbi, Bobby., Sweely, Roman Flügel, and N-Gynn.
The ‘Nottwax’ VA comes out on Monday, July 20th and you can preview Ruf Dug’s ‘Theme from Ruffy’s Lab and also pre-order the release below.
