Epizode to postpone fifth edition until 2021 amid current worldwide health and safety concerns

The journey that Vietnamese beach festival Epizode has undertaken this year has been well documented and sadly there has been another twist in the saga. Due to the worsening worldwide travel conditions and safety concerns due to the COVID-19 outbreak the team behind the annual year-end gathering has taken the difficult decision to postpone until 2021.

The festival will now instead take place from Wednesday, December 29th through to its culmination on Sunday, January 9th.

The event that was due to welcome the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, [a:rpia:r], and Sonja Moonear will retain all artists that have been announced so far and all tickets will remain valid for the revised 2021 date. To prove that Epizode means business they will continue to announce the remainder of the proposed line-up in the coming weeks and months.

To soften the blow for existing ticket holders the kind folks at Epizode will also be adding a Multi-Pass to their accounts. Ticket holders can then choose if they want to keep these tickets or request a full refund, but we are sure that most will want to be first in the queue for one of the hottest events once travel restrictions are lifted.

Amid all the furor that has surrounded the event this year, it has been refreshing to see such major players of our industry show their support and solidarity for Epizode and we look forward to seeing Sunset Sanato bouncing to the sounds of the underground once again.
