Drums lay out plans for 30+ hour NYE rave in Sinaia

Romanian outfit Drums have a seriously strong pedigree when it comes to throwing parties, especially in their native country. From their overseas jaunts to SXM Festival, The Day After Tomorrow in Bulgaria, their New Year’s Day event at R33 in Barcelona with SIT and of course their quality domestic events drums know a thing or 2 about throwing the best parties.

With this in mind who better to see in a new year with than the drums crew and have they got an event for you. Taking place in one of Sinaia’s most coveted ski resorts drums are in the process of putting the finishing touches to arguably one of their biggest events to date. They will be taking over the plateau above the city, at 1100m altitude; the place from where all skiers start their every winter day in the mountains – a borderline between civilization along with the forest and nature wilderness. Of course, there will be enough Funktion One sound to cause an avalanche but it is the caliber of the artists that will be in charge of that sound system that will make the serious party heads sit up and take notice.

Over the course of the marathon party which starts at 7pm on Tuesday, December 31st and doesn’t stop until 7am on Thursday, January 2nd you will be able to catch in action Arapu, Sublee, Herodot, Personne, Nu Zau, SIT (Cristi Cons & Vlad Caia), Kozo, Dan Andrei as well as a host of other artists that are yet to be announced. That’s a staggering 30+ hours of raving to welcome in a new decade with some of the best minimal artists in the world, make sure you don’t sleep on the tickets as you will be able to bag yourself a serious bargain.
