As we edge ever closer to the next edition of Dimensions Festival, we continue to revel in each new snippet of detail. Today’s news piece brings with it quite an insight into the festival setup for this year. Let’s take a look at the day splits for Dimensions 24′.
Several venues will feature in the opening day on Thursday. Butter Side Up will be kicking off proceedings with a takeover at The Beach, inviting along the likes of Slow Life’s Laurine & Cecilio, Garrett David live and of course, Hamish & Toby. Cosmos will welcome a touch of the heavier stuff with quirkier rhythms coming live and direct from Olive Grove. Friday follows on the momentum with a takeover from The Ghost & Limousine Dream, featuring Peach, Bruno Schmidt and Admo (live) all joining at the legendary open air venue Barbarella.
As we only scratch the surface, Saturday brings festival favourite Dr Banana who will be taking over The Beach. Cosmos plays host to Cartulis, who have an expertly selected b2b debut from DJ Masda & Unai Trotti. Lola Haro takes over Olive Grove with Small Steps and NYC’s ReSolute will be the ones to champion Barbarella. Despite being their first time at the festival, they are certainly making quite an impact. Look out for a rather large lineup featuring Sonja Moonear, Fumiya Tanaka and Mathew Jonson (live).

Sunday looks pretty epic as well, with Amsterdam’s SlapFunk set to take over The Beach, inviting Dungeon Meat as well as Anthea b2b tINI. We are also delighted to be taking over at Olive Grove, with our very own Trommel stage hosting the likes of Quest, Data Memory Access (live) and plenty more. A more bass heavy flavour sits at Comso with Mala and dBridge, before night time at Barbarella continues with much loved collective MARICAS.
There is no stopping into Monday, as The MUDD show make a marathon 15-hour session that will feature a whole host of guests including Jane Fitz, Sugar Free & Fonte, Sweely and Christian AB. Thanks also to a well thought out plan by Alien Communications, Olive Grove will welcome DJ Stingray, DMX Krew (live) and Detroit In Effect.
Look out also for antics at The Pier stage, which returns after a much appreciated debut last year. The serene stage will see Harry McCanna, Velvet Velour and Mother Earth all in attendance, plus many, many more.
