You will by now be well aware of the Croatian festival Dimensions and the many facets that make up the hedonistic gathering. It is not simply just the main festival, which in itself is something out of the world. From the sun kissed stages to the blissed-out boat parties there is still all this information to come. Firstly, we want to tell you all about the fabled after parties that will be taking place at one the world’s finest clubs – Barbarellas. Last year the after parties were amongst the most prized memories from Dimensions’ tenth anniversary edition. We have a sneaking suspicion that the open-air club will again be one of the biggest takeaways from this long weekend in the sun.
With each of the main festival days offering the chance to usher in the morning sun surrounded by hundreds of beaming faces, Friday, September 1st will be hosted by Butter Side Up. Hamish & Toby have done such a great job of helping to curate Dimensions and all the parties it is only right that they are in control of the first afterparty. They have enlisted a fine selection of artists that include the truly unmissable Sweely, force of nature Truly Madly, and Malika will play b2b with Matthew Neequaye.
Moving over to Saturday night and this party will be hosted by one of Detroit’s finest – DJ Stingray 313. A firm favourite in many camps, the masked hero and his weaponised electro and techno arsenal is well matched by that of Objekt, Anz, and OK Williams. The final dance of the festival will belong to MARICAS and their wide scope of sounds will include ISAbella, Roza Terenzi and D. Tiffany who will be back in business playing b2b, as will CCL and DJ Voices, while Aletha will go it alone. With shuttle buses included in the price of your ticket these parties will be one last chance to really push the envelope all the way in to the morning sun as it creeps into the open-air confines of Barabellas.
