COVID-19 hit the mountain-based Swiss festival Caprices Festival hard earlier this year, however, the Modernity team persevered and were finally able to throw a fun size version of the festival a few months ago. Featuring sets from leading artists such as Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Vath, and Sonja Moonear, the size of the event may have been reduced slightly but the production and vibe matched any previous edition.
This was undoubtedly some of the best news to come from this sad situation after the world nightlife and festival industry was culled en mass and more good news has come from the Modernity camp. After the success of the 2020 event and a look to the future the dates for Caprices Festival 2021 have been announced. In a slight change to the festival program from previous years there will be not one but two separate events in both April and September.
So, the dates that you need to save in your diary are:
- Friday, April 9th – Sunday, April 11th
- Friday, April 16th – Sunday, April18th
and then
- Friday, September 17th – Sunday, September 19th
- Friday, September 24th – Sunday, September 26th.
Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that the situation will be somewhat resolved by April in order for the festival to return to full strength once again.
