Slovenia’s Butik Festival present their second edition, inviting a number of tasteful selectors from a variety of minimal, techno and disco worlds to the stunning grounds of Soča Valley.

Running slightly later than the original July dates, Butik will operate from Thursday August 19th to Sunday 22nd. 2021’s line-up delves deeper into the crew’s diverse tastes, inviting Sonja Moonear, S.A.M and Arapu for a masterclass in minimalism.
Russian mainstay Andrey Pushkarev also features, alongside Sweely (live), Youandewan and rising Montevideo talent Michelle, who will also play live. The My Own Jupiter artist has been making waves within the realms of face-melting acid techno pushed by the likes of Nicolas Lutz and Binh. Mama Snake, Francesco Del Garda and Gene On Earth bring a healthy dose of the vinyl digging world, replacing the originally announced SPFDJ, Cinthie and Jensen Interceptor who can no longer attend the new August dates.
Etapp Kyle is welcomed back to the festival after his impressive performance in 2019. The Klockworks artist’s identity within lean, hynpotic techno is the perfect evening soundtrack to the raw surroundings of the valley.
Over 45 artists feature across the lineup, with a number of local and international talents returning to the festival. Leeds based Vassallo and Chin return to the festival after a standout session in 2019 with Eliaz, who recently ignited their label venture.

Frankfurt legend Gerd Janson will open the festival with a sunset pre-party set on Thursday, spanning decades of house and disco gems you’ll likely never hear again. It’s safe to safe the music policy at Butik Festival caters for all, and is a melting pot for discovering new music, with many lesser known talents given the opportunity to shine.
