Every mid-June Barcelona explodes in a shower of label parties and showcases that take place in almost every conceivable event space. The yearly house and techno pilgrimage that is Off Barcelona sees some of the years most talked about parties being thrown on rooftops in swimming pools, monasteries, beaches and clubs and Berg Audio are ready to present their 3rd Off Barcelona showcase.
After the huge success of last year’s event with Barcelona brothers Watermelon the hot combination has been reprised once again at Funky Buddha on Saturday, June 20th with an unique view of the city and open-air terrace .As Off Barcelona being such a standout event in the year’s party calendar all parties make a huge effort to bring in the finest talent from their stables and Berg Audio have an insane number of top artists to draw upon and they have knocked it out of the park for their 2020 showcase. For an example of just how storng this stable is look no further than the 2019 ‘Construction Tools II’ EP where much of the lineup contributed to this release.
Returning for another dose of glacial dub is Russia’s Andrey Pushkarev, an artist that takes his music curation very seriously and with this top selector delivering one of our most popular podcasts quality is most definitely assured. The heavy-hitting guest theme continues with Yoyaku main man Janeret, fellow Frenchman Traumer as well as the President of Romania Priku.
As well as some of the world’s most in-demand artists playing there will also be a collection of some exciting new talents that are making their way through the scene at the moment. Cologne artist DJOKO is a fine example of this, having appeared on other great labels as well as cropping up on line-ups around the world. Also joining will be Harrison BDP and Lola Palmer who also returns from last year’s roadblock event in Barcelona.
