Barcelona’s La ASO invite Gescu and Maher Daniel for a secret warehouse rave

La ASO are back with a bang in Barcelona. Following the success of previous secret location showcases with Voigtmann, Arapu and Dan Andrei, Friday 13th May will welcome the prolific Gescu to let loose on Spanish soil.

The location this time round will host a high-end sound system at an undisclosed warehouse space in the city of Barcelona. Going all out for the full 8+ hours and stretching well into the morning, Gescu will feature alongside Canadian selector Maher Daniel, both fresh from the upcoming Sunwaves 28 in Romania.

Gescu has grown into a prolific artist in the minimal circuits. Known for his subtle, flow-state DJ sets, layering of organic textures and emotive palates, turning them into moreish rhythms that could loop forever. His production work with fellow Romanian Gescu are a sought after item within their own realms, hosting an impressive Bandcamp catalogue with a sea of intricate and long form compositions.

SVDR Records boss Jacobo Saavedra brings his unique flavours to the line-up, as well as NUT Records owner Lyo. The Barcelona record store is notorious for it’s intriguing and diverse selections which is sure to come through in the founder’s set warming up the night.
