Barcelona crew Watermelon have always looked to push boundaries with their events and music policy. This has been the case for the nine years that they have been in operation and over these years they have always been at the center of the action. From OFF Week to their year round program of events, Watermelon can be counted upon to deliver some of the finest parties that Barcelona has to offer.
For their next event they have taken things up a notch yet again with their plans for Saturday, August 26th. Starting off at Sitges open air beach club Hola Beach Club, which saw one of OFF Week’s hottest parties will be a sun drenched party headlined by Dutch producer Toman. The Amsterdam based artist has made a very well known name for himself with releases on No Art, Eastenders, LOCUS, and Cuttin’ Headz to name just a few of the imprints to bear his name. Joining Toman behind the decks by the rolling waves of the beach will be Brenda Cast, Electricano, and the ever present Watermelon residents Triad.
Once the final beats fall away into the crashing of the sea, all roads will lead from Sitges back to Barcelona where Les Enfants Brillants will be waiting to receive the warmed up ravers. Taking care of the early hours at the Barcelona city center spaceship will be Triad. Having been a central element of the biggest Watermelon events to date, Triad are well versed in the art of crafting the perfectly balanced dancefloor. With them already firing on all cylinders from the afternoon’s action they will be poised to warm the plates for their guest. Dutchman and VBX main man, Ferro is an artist that you should all be very well acquainted with. From his techy, groove laden productions to his wide ranging DJ sets that can be heard on most continents in recent years, he promises a bumpy culmination to the days adventure.
For those wishing to make their trip to Sitges and back to the action in Barcelona there will be a bus option to get you there and back safely.
