Robert Drewek is another of these curious artists that don’t ever seem to sleep, not a day goes by when he is announcing another mystifying release on one of his many DBH Music related imprints or showing the world the massive delivery of vinyl that is winging its way to the best record stores in the world or his parties at the likes of Tresor that keep the people dancing every week. However, it is his RAWAX imprints that consistently keeps the big hitters rolling out. What is also so very awe inspiring is the flexibility of the label’s output. One release might be the dusty acid flecked spacer ‘Rock The Box’ from Ron Trent, or new school houser ‘Blue Notes’ from FUSE pairing of Enzo Siragusa and Seb Zito, either way the diversity of quality is a common thread that has run throughout the imprint since the beginning.
So, when Robert Drewek announces a RAWAX party at Off Barcelona there is a million different ways that he could have programmed this label showcase. Taking place on Friday, June 19th RAWAX will be joining forces with local promoters Watermelon for a day to night party that will include sets from Vera, Julian Perez, Ada Kaleh, Sepp, Alexkid and of course the man himself Robert Drewek.
Taking place at Funky Buddha club which looks to be a bit of a hotspot for events during this hectic week with Berg Audio also running their label showcase at the venue.
