With December rolling in, it’s time to start marking your festive calendars. While Christmas traditions take shape around the globe, London’s clubbing scene is gearing up for its own holiday rituals. At the forefront is the highly anticipated Art Of Dark Christmas celebration — a marathon of music and revelry in the moments leading up to the big day.
The two part special will follow the usual order of proceedings. Starting on Saturday 21st December, doors will open from 11pm at FOLD for a night full of epic proportions. Bonafide afters spot StarLane remains on standby for a morning session, set to run right through until 5pm the next day.
Serving up the initial feast, Art Of Dark mainstay Quest will bring his signature blend of hypnotic, rolling beats, almost 10 years since his first appearance for the London collective. The Berlin flavours are strong, with Otis also heading in from the German capital, ready to make his AOD debut, for a live performance that promises to push the boundaries of electronic music. He’ll be bringing an extensive setup, that even features its own retro phone line. Of course, Colin Chiddle will also be on hand as ever, representing the true AOD sound.
DJ Tree and Aton will take charge over at the afters, alongside two unannounced guests set to be revealed in the hours leading up to the day session.
