Review: Various Artists – What NxT 002 [WHXT002]

Given the impressive volume of production that came out from Rich NxT creative mind, it would have been impossible to release it all on FUSE. That’s why in 2016, as most busy producers do, he started his own imprints NxT Records, on which he has already released four solo EP, with the latest NXT004 still echoing round at Village Underground, FUSE London homeplace.

Like if that was not enough, he decided in 2017 to add sister label to its main one characterized by the hanger logo. What NxT aims to give space and relevance to the artists he admires and music that he plays. The future for the label is bright and he already revealed the next year has in the program to release some own remixes of tracks out on What NxT and viceversa include few remix from outside on his future solo EP.

Following a first killer release which featured Tolga Top, Mariano Mateljan, Josh Baker and Moonlit Vision in July 2017, the second EP is already on its way: this time it features tracks of Bartolomeo, David Gtronic and Acanalar.

Gira, the first EP track produced from Bartolomeo, has an energetic and captivating groove and share the A-side with Venia from David Gtronic, a bit more cerebral but really effective in heating up the state of things.

On the B-side you can find two works of Acanalar: the UK duo has been very active recently and after listening to Mudz and Wayz rhythmical vibes we believe they more than deserved taking the while of the EP’s B side.

Release date: 05 December 2017
