Being one of the driving forces in the Middle East, this OG flexes his creative skills for the likes of next-gen movements MDLBEAST and XP Music Futures as well as his own label and event series Gabu. As a result of this untiring approach to spreading the good word of music over the past decades, Baloo has ensured he is always at the forefront of new and exciting developments in the world of electronic music. One recent appearance that has put him at the forefront of the developing music world is his recent set at Tunisia’s blossoming large-scale event, Fabrika. Weaving his way through a finely curated selection of deeper cuts, Baloo covers disco-tinged heaters, vocally peppered deep house, and more minimal leaning rarities. For the more eagle eyed amongst you you might also have picked up on the fact that there is also a light peppering of brand new, unreleased works from labels close to his heart Aterral, Music For Freaks, and of course Baloo’s on imprint Gabu. Regardless of genre or sub-genre the SA don always ensures he keeps that funk, an ethos that has and will continue to serve him well.
