Tamango Records is an Italian imprint, with its name inspired by the legend of Tamango, the first African slave who fought for freedom.
Its fourth release is coming directly from London, produced by FUSE resident Rich NxT, and will be out on 30th of April 2018.
This makes the label to enter an important, new and blossoming phase, as for the first time it opens his door to an external artist, embracing, not by any chance, the diverse and in-constant evolution London sound.
So far, the label was the private space of its head and owner Yaya, which have recently spent the summer and the last part of 2017 touring around with HYTE crew, as well as focusing on his label and productions.
With three releases in the last 2 years, and a joint venture with Lorenzo Chiabotti on Monologue Music, Yaya decided to make a step forward and put his skills on remix duties only, giving enough space to Rich NxT to craft a bomb 3-tracker to complete a new chapter for the label.
It is known story that recently the English DJ and producer is on fire, with timeless productions and dance floor weapons produced in the last months of activity, and his arrival on Tamango Records is setting the bar high, unveiling the international ambitions of the label.
A-side is whole for “Started Again” and its remix from Yaya.
A1 has this classic taste of the FUSE resident, with stomping kicks, drums and distorted sounds throughout the whole lenght of the track, which is 7 minutes. The remix from Yaya is right after, on A2, and its a whole different story: with its tribal touch and rhythmics, together with synth and drums rollers, creates a perfect groover.
B2 is “Despect”, a tech-house banger with heavy bass presence, increasing pace and twisted metallic sounds that shakes the atmosphere. It also contains an interesting drop that we are sure will make the dancefloor bumping.
B1 is named “Ashame” and it’s our favourite; for this reason we choose to premiere it.
The track have already been successfully tested on different soundsystem and the result was always impressive. It is at the same time complex and extremely well crafted: powerful basslines, rolling drums, kicks, create a bassment heads down story, delivering a perfect tool for both big festivals and intimate clubs, with the trippy vocals to give the track its extra-mile energy.
Expect this record to be heavily played in its entirety.
