Premiere: 3 – Dani Labb – T=Error [MRD008]

For the next edition of Micra Recordings, they welcome fellow Argentinian artist and Pryma Records main player Dani Labb. Here the offering from Dani is a techy, acid drenched workout across the “T=Error” four track club ready EP.

We take aim at title track “T=Error” and the snappy snare led groove struts with the air and confidence that a banger does. The combination of flanged synths and undulating bass tones are always going to be real floor killer and this is no different. The spacey FX and brooding mood also point to a serious track that we are sure is already doing huge things at the finest parties.

There has clearly been a lot of effort put into the mix of the drums as just the reverb from the “Wulai” is enough to carry this track a long way. The eerie pads give an ominous feeling that the robotic vocal clips and minor synth stabs compound, but there is always room for a bit of darkness in any set. “SD1” is another huge track and with the larger than life synth line and punchy percussion this is bound to stand out in any peak time set. Rounding out this fine release is the atmospheric “Nonoa” and the uplifting feeling of the synths is tempered with the wiggles of the 303 and the darker synths that join the mix later on.
