Today we’re having a new label Entered Records and an old friend Jos, which is known for his EYA Records and Lonewolf labels. A piece of a release, that you should expect in the summer. Let’s go.
“Go Beyond”, the closer of the record, is a very flat, functional track. 5+ minutes of stomping and buzzing. With the signature style of Jos – you know, when this is neither really house nor true techno. Something in between, which still pairs nicely with almost every possible type of set.
The release is opening with “Absence Of Thought” – a broken piece, that will definitely ruin your dancing experience, but at the same time, will give you a chance to have some rest. Too broken in the first part, but just perfect in the second. The rework – even RETHINK by Dashiell starts a bit more aggressively… And, actually stays in the same mood. Some breakbeats and hip-hop vibes (occasional scratches are responsible for that) – and this one, will probably be played even more than the original. “L’esprit”, the B-side opener, starts slowly, I would call it a dreamy tune, because of that intro, but after the second minute, we are having a straight banger. No dreams, just fist pumping.
A very nice kickstart for the label, must say. Definitely check the stores in the summer – there will be some pre-order links a bit later.
