It’s always nice to see a good music resurrection. Like with the name of DAV, who started to pop up here and there during the last years with some reissues, unreleased stuff from the old era, and some new bangers. Today we’re checking him on Jamuse Records.
“Modesty Night” is the last one on the record, closing it with DAV’s signature tech-house style. The only thing that I would like to add here is the example of his signature light style. He can do much more damage here, definitely.
And if you thought the main one was the light one, it’s B-side neighbor “Knowing You” could easily argue with you on that. The deepest sound from DAV possible, I guess… “Well Tailored” stands on that light side too, but also has a bit more dancefloor-oriented groove, I would say. Finally, “Bad Dreams” with its mid-heavy kick and a piece of vocoder does the job finally done.
As I said, one of the lightest possible DAV’s pieces on this release. But if you’re into that type of sound, Juno, Deejay, or Decks will cover you here.
