Ukrainian producer Vinaya launches his new label, Trippy Taka, with his own 4-track release. OK, not 100% his own, as you can see from the headline…
Today’s track is old. Like, really old. How do I know that? At least from the name of the collaborator. Alex became Sasha a few years ago, and the track was clearly on their minds before that. “Reditseq” combines the best of both words. We have here a gentle, minimalistic approach of Vinaya, and that, almost out of the rails vibe of Alex (Sasha). A definition of delicate banger.
But there’s more. “Funky Slap” is a much pacier and energetic tune with all those new sounds inside that went into the minimalistic scene not so long ago. “4 Atmo”, quite contrary, stands on some dreamy side. Finally, “I Know, I Feel” stands in the electro territory with both its legs, but has its connection to the minimal side anyway.
