The history of releases on OPIA Records taught us to listen very carefully when they have something to say. Or announce. Usually, they’re not going hand in hand with the record shops for the direct pre-order, so you have those additional few days (or even weeks) when you’re checking all those tabs on the shops, and listening to those loops on IG or SC. Like on this one, by LVCA.
LVCA is another one, you should listen to very carefully when it comes to announcing. A very productive artist, he doesn’t put that into the quantity-not-quality situation. This release should easily tell you that. Our today’s track “A Fine Line” was picked as the best on the record, but it was one of those hard choices. A very synthy piece, that leaves you room to move anywhere with the track you’re going to play after it. There are two ways – a more romantic one, directed by melody here, and the harder one – continuing with the groove. Only you will decide.
The B-side is ending with a bang. The bang is called “S.P.B.” and starts with the super chord, turned into another synthy melody. Kinda quick track, but you’re going to love that jumpy cruising melody here. “4-3-2-1” we are going with the A1 here, that works just perfectly for a track on that position. Another s-y-n-t-h-y stomper, that is conquering us with the pace. Should be perfect for the dancefloors with those additional robotic voices also. And the last one here will be its neighbor “Rabbit On The Moon”, which seems to be the calmest on the record at first, but then is opening for us in full, as a great, early morning piece of pleasure.
The record can be found on the Lirica Archives Bandcamp page already. Or at Deejay, or any other good record store.
