Premiere: A2 – Roman Khropko – Priority Of Sound [FIB002]

Fib Records, probably, the weirdest Ukrainian label, is ready with their second joint. The previous one did a small wave, only 42 (!) copies were pressed, and now it’s a delight for Discogs’ sharks. This one is also a limited piece, but this time they decided to go bigger – 150 copies are available, but still be quick.

Just like the previous one, this release is single-sided. Unlike the previous one, we have three tracks here, all made by one person – the usual suspect Roman Khropko. The best one, as we think, is “Priority Of Sound” – the second out of three. A serious slow roller with great robotic echoed voices all over it. This one was just made for the big soundsystems, believe me.

Since the release is single-sided, and we have three tracks on the side, one of those, as you probably guessed, should be shorter – that’s about “Meta World”, the intro, that will set the tone for the whole record. And the last one here is “Affirmation” – we can hear another edition of robotic voices, this time with the addition of female ones. The pace is still slow; the track is still banging.

Remember that only 150 copies were pressed, and they are already waiting for you at JunoDeejay, or Decks. With the hype on the first one, you should probably consider this an investment—with the great sounds on it.
