Today we’re having something that we saw last time in 2021, in the previous era, I would say. A piece from a new release by the supergroup Phone Traxxx. Alec Falconer, Harry Wills, Rob Amboule – damn, if you’re not excited right now, I don’t even know what to say.
“Groovement” from the A-side was picked for the main premiere, but, to be honest, you really can pick anything here. This one just banged more, like, 0,1% percent more than all the other ones. A very catchy roller, that picks you on its wave since the first second, then adds a very fat wobble and a bunch of a few other signature garage samples. Already tested it, and I can’t say anything about the happiness in the crowd, I want you to feel that by yourself after your first public spin.
“Slinkzer”, the record opener, is a bit delicate one until the 3-minute mark hits you with all that buzz – a very unexpected part. “Mentasmluv” from the other side, does kinda the same, playing with us with that mellow, almost jazzy intro, only to destroy everything after with its superhuge bass. And the last mention today, “Humbucker”, takes us into some mystic territory for a bit, but you, probably, know already, what we’ll have after all that suspense – yes, it’s a very heavy bass, hehe, you never can be wrong with that.
Volume 6 should be on the pre-sales anytime soon. You just can’t miss this one.
