The Fonkstructors, the group with a relatively new name with old friends (Alich and Dr. Hertz) behind it, lands on the Diskcard label, and we’re ready to structure their fonks!
We’re having here solo tracks, and also two collabs, starting with the solo from Alich. “I’ll Do It” is a perfect modern French track, if you need to imagine one in your head. Moderately synthy, moderately electrohousey, with gorgeous female vocal samples all the way through and also a dreamy (but not “spacey” this time) feel.
Another solo here, “Madness On Earth”, is coming from another Fonkstructor, and starts as a much more laid-back track… And, basically, stays like that for the whole time. Just having a bit more quirkiness through the middle of it. Balearic electro-house.
The first duo work will be “Fonkster Man”, the piece, easily imagined on MTV in the 80s with its synthy (synthy, like a band) sound, easily a perfect starter for the record. Another one here is “Fonkstruction Is Over,” and it’s just a perfect house piece. If we had 2016 right now, with all that lo-fi craze, you would go bananas. Speaking about the latest trends on the Internet…
It seems that this beauty will go as well as their previous one. You could check that soon on Juno, Deejay, or Decks.
