Rowle Music’s sublabel Abduction shape their fourth release.
The Italian collective host a prolific output across both imprints, honing a more minimalist approach in the Abduction releases as heard in the recent Direkt premiere, alongside the tech-house driven sound of Rowle.
Frequent studio partners UserUNKNWN & Soyro join forces for the premiered A-side, delving deeper into sultry micro-house realms.
The duo’s now recognisable strain of stripped back, tranquil inspired club music has landed on a number of globe-spanning labels, such as Vietnam’s Rhanamh Music and Romania’s Piano Forest Records.
Focus on atmospheric, mood-setting textures is paramount in this corner of dance music. Calming, ethereal pads glow at the rear of the mix, flowing over a lean drum palate packed with warm, club hungry punch.
Crisp hats and claps slot between a devious, elastic bassline looping over a modest sequence pulsing throughout the track. The simplistic nature of each element creates an affable, easy-listening atmosphere ideal for these isolated times at home, as much as deep into a submissive club session.
Rhythms and melodies collide with a luscious sense of clarity, introducing subtle breakdowns and crafty vocal samples throughout the eight-minute trip.
Bucurie and Rares Romanov bring their eloquent Romanian flavours with one cut each across the rest of the record, alongside a funky head trip from Argentinan based producer Cerec.
