Miles Mercer returns to his own Accessory Records and we couldn’t be happier since we still remember the first release of the label with his own tracks. Let’s see if he nailed another banging one this time. Spoiler – the quick answer is “Yes!”.
Our main dish of today is opening the record. “Third Planet Mystery” is a nice piece of almost 6-minute roller that will save your energy while keeping you busy dancing. On its third minute you will be transferred into some kind of a fairy tale with all those arpeggios. On its fourth minute you will be brought back to the dancefloor. Quick trip – and you’re ready to dance again.
“Time Ahead” which is laying near our premiere on the A2 position is a little bit more serious. Groovy beginning, with some broken beats in the middle… And in the end too, actually. This one is trying to balance between breaks and house but with a much bigger lean to the broken side. The B-side is dedicated in full to the “Molecular Acid”. The longest track on the record is offering us a long trip with acid. If you’re adult enough to take the offer – you will be happy in the end.
It seems, that this record will be sold-out easily, just like the AR001. So you better run to Juno, Deejay, Yoyaku or wherever you’re buying your wax. Don’t feed the Discogs’ sharks later.
