One of my favorite and yet most frustrating things—knowing the producer behind a new alias without being able to reveal it. That’s exactly the case here on the fifth release of Deep In Dis intl. , where we’re treated to a “new” name delivering a top-tier 4-tracker.
“Mission Impossible @ La Luna (Still It Looks Good)” (one of the longest titles we’ve ever had, I think) opens the release perfectly. It all comes together beautifully with radio-ed voices (finally not robotic!), a retro-rave vibe, skillfully chopped sirens, and superb percussions.
“Electronic Storm” follows with a sinister opening that shifts seamlessly into another rave banger—this one would’ve been perfect for Halloween. Then we hit “Do You Know Where You Are?” on the B-side, kicking things up to a faster 140 BPM. If that’s a bit too quick for you, “Libertino” slows things down with nodes to Belgian sounds (a heads-up about the sirens).
Check your go-to record stores because DIDWAX005 will drop soon—you won’t want to miss it!
