Planet Tapes label is gathering another great bunch of astronauts under its third release. Now we’ll have only 4 tracks instead of 5, but this time they all will be from Italian masters. Let’s go and check them out one by one.
Our main guest today is Domenico Rosa. The name, that needs no introduction, really. But if you want to know more about him – here’s our piece from the last year. His track here slams right in the heart from the very first second. Don’t know for sure, but, probably, “Kosmos” will be the dreamiest thing, you’ll hear in March. With magnificent arpeggios on top of that. A perfect soundtrack for some alien romantic comedy (that still kicks in its second part, don’t you think it’s only about some cuddling in space).
Also on the record we can find Deyayu (not so long ago we saw that name on Oscuro London Records) with another dreamy piece. His “Asthatwhatis” also has a very mellow intro which transforms into a very nice stomper. The B-side openers, that are hiding under the name Two Opposites are the label captains, that are going under the names Luigi and Andrea in their real lives. And their “Tropical Aurora” just continues the mood of that spacey safe trip between galaxies. And the closing one, “Phased Energy” by Eros is giving us some breaky version of that cosmic journey. Again, with a twist in its second part.
This article was written in Ukraine. Ukraine is in the middle of the war with Russia right now. Would be great if you could donate to the biggest Ukrainian volunteer fund here. Also, you can pick any music initiative, that is also trying to help from our list here. We’ll be stronger together.
