Mexican DJ and producer Dieru signs the 12th release of Tied Records with a four-tracker EP. The Chicago based vinyl and digital label ran and curated by DJ/Producer Max Jacobson has been doing its thing in the underground on a monthly basis by way of their top events. They regularly welcome the likes of Priku, Arapu, Janeret to The Windy City and this is not about to change any time soon. Past releases have seen artists such as Topper, Martinez, Archie Hamilton, and Vern all flex. As well as their parties they have more amazing future releases are on the way from Nick Beringer, Denis Kaznacheev, Matheiu and Noha.
More on the present and founder of the events imprint and record label Honne Music, Dieru has been active on the scene for more than 10 years. He is one of the major actor in North Mexico, bringing the finest DJs down to Baja California, that it is headliners such as Gene On Earth, Franceso Del Garda or John Dimas, or newcomers and local talents. We recently premiered the last release of his label, featuring Moray, Harrison BDP, Tripmastaz & Rodrigo P.
Production wise, Dieru is one of those you instantly recognise by his own unique sound. If you are already familiar with his music, you won’t be disappointed with this new track. It has everything he masters perfectly. It is deep enough, dark enough, minimalistic enough, and true to the producer’s imprint: subtle and dreamy.
‘Div’ opens the EP and jumps in with a strong bassline that will bare with us all along. The rhythm is fast-paced, driven by energetic drums and percussions that are literally taking the lead of the track. Dieru then balances the frantic minimalistic base with deep moody waves coming in and out in between the beats, as he brings us into a dark but soothing journey.
TIED012 comes with another original track, ‘Dare To Be You’, and two acid influenced remixes from Birdsmakingmachine and CHKLTE. Vinyl-only, the record is already available to order on Deejay and will be in your local record shop very soon.
