In late 2025, Alexander Skancke dropped the second release of his The Sorcerer series. Of course, we were going to take a piece from that, what do you think?
“Norwegian Wood” is the opener of the release and, probably, the most Skancke-ish tune of them all. Full of suspense, great percussion, and the feel that somebody is standing right around the corner. Like, usually from him.
“Loka” lacks suspense (still has plenty), but from the third minute, you’ll hear the straightforward, but at the same time, very danceable melody. “U Want 2 Be Free” is, probably, the biggest banger of the release, going into the category of those signature murmuring tracks from Alexander. Finally, “Koko Loko” is his almost dub and steppy take (not the first time, you can find those in his discography earlier).
The record could be picked through the Bikini Waxx store (or Discogs). And if you’ll be slow enough, you’ll probably see the prices of it going up and away.
