Premiere: 1. Mickael Espinosa – Can’t Find My Feel (Original Mix) [405R022]

Swiss label Studio 405 has made quite a name for themselves by way of their rock-solid minimal approach to deep tech house and for their next release, the undeniable talents of label bosses Mickael Espinosa will be on show. Since 2017 the duo has been putting out some serious bangers and the co-productions of this duo are amongst the labels finest to date.

The digital release of ‘Can’t Find My Feel’ pulls absolutely no punches from the start as snappy hats, insistent toms and rolling claps quickly form a regimented groove and stay there for the duration of the groove. Soon they are joined by a huge bassline that really pushes itself into the listeners face demanding attention. A forlorn female vocal makes an appearance guiding the track to a neat drop before business resumes.

Also on the release is a bass-heavy work out from Bedran. Which beefs up things from the original and adds in a smattering of some downright nasty bass and simmers for the remainder of the track. Rounding things up is a much more stripped back reworking from Lorik. Taking things in a much minimal leaning direction with some smart modular glitches, vocal cuts and a really nice low-slung bassline that seems to bubble just below the surface.
