For this particular edition of our podcast series we have been bestowed with a mouth-watering pairing. Portugal based super selector Andrey Pushkarev has surely been on everybody’s radar for some time now. His sublime choices from his timeless record collection knows no bounds and his sets are so revered that he is able to straddle a great many genres with ease. He has hooked up with Eli Verveine, an artist that is also very adept at reading the room and delivering just the right piece of wax at the right time, but always with enough of a twist to keep the dancefloor guessing and more important locked in the groove.

Recorded live at Amsterdam’s favourite sub-terranean haunt – Shelter, the 2.5-hour stint behind the decks threw up all manner of highlights from this pair of talented selectors. From deep, dubby techno, tight percussive tech, and uplifting 90’s inspired house and breaks, this mix covers it all and then some. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for future sets from Among Trees, but for now revel in this mix the pair have kindly presented for our podcast series. We won’t give the game away too much, but around half way through the recording the pair impressively manage to reduce a club such as Shelter to nothing but a swirling wall of wind and raw tones. This mix is THAT good.
