Originally treading singular musical paths, Anthea and Oshana have most definitely converged on more than just a love for the music they currently purvey. Connecting via mutual friend Randall M, the pair would soon embark on a joint adventure that would see the pair form Astral Travel. Travelling to all corners of the earth spreading intergalactic grooves wherever they touch down, these stars are testament to the power of music. As well as Anthea still bossing her wildly unmissable Partisan imprint, the pair also jointly curate Psionic with the opening release falling on their shoulders.
One such far flung pairing for Astral Travel came when the pair rendezvoused in New York’s Nowadays nightspot. Taking charge of the peak time hours during an extended session that lasted a whole 24 hours, Anthea and Oshana made full use of the 3 hour set time. Recorded in full for your listening pleasure, the duo took their time to ensure that the setting was just right and it is clear that they were in full control from the beginning. Blending futuristic electro that likely was committed to wax decades before with punchy house and breaks, Astral Travel more than lived up to their billing.
