Young Argentinian artist Juaan has made quite an impact in the electro scene in the last 12 months, but to say that sound can be placed firmly in the electro box is a tad shortsighted. There is no denying this artist has house music and breaks at his core and in recent years he has been able to drill down into the more sinister edged weapons that he has become known for. Recent followers will be well acquainted with his storming release on 22recordings and more recently Positive Future Music and Sarah Tonin Music Records, but his catalogue stretches further than that.
Not for the faint hearted, Juaan’s audio tools produce music that would quite easily soundtrack a nightclub in full swing come the end of the world. Apocalyptic House may not be a genre that catches on but you heard it here first and you also catch our drift. So, with Juaan’s star continuing to rise we now present a sliver of his prowess and “Ya Lo Tenemo ” is the next step in his evolution as a talent to watch carefully. As well as rock solid drums and soul wrenching basslines Juaan also manages to insert pitch black humour into his tracks via the tidy vocal samples that he uses. We won’t spoil the fun, but you wont be disappointed.
