As well as countless labels that Subwax take care of, Baldo has a clutch of his own imprints that have been producing underground gems for many years. It is his Physical Education label that holds the key to today’s hot new track.
Today, we present the next edition in our Free Download series and it features a stunning new iteration of Baldo’s recent summer jam “1998”. The original version is tailor made for high octane daytime sessions, but the new Organ Mix has provided a supercharged lease of life. While the new version shares some elements with the original we are discussing an entirely different beast. Where the acid bassline found in the original took control of the track, the organ bassline on this new secret weapon gives more room to the drums and the stripped back profile lets the new direction of the track jump out of the speakers.
