Summer time in the northern hemisphere might be over but the season in Zanzibar is still going strong. Why?Not Zanzibar, an event series born on the island after COVID (and now regularly touring the world over), has plenty up their sleeve for the remainder. One of the highlights of the season has to be the repeat of the collab between Why?Not, Butik and Lighthouse, also known as Zanzibar Gathering. This special week-long festival will return to those serene shores from 13th – 20th February.
The partnership first came into fruition at the start of this year. A gathering of three respected brands from different corners of the globe, bringing together collectives leading the charge in their respective locations. Fusing an experience of the underground with the beauty of nature, together they bring an exceptional offering that just doesn’t come round all that often.
Events will be taking place across a host of different locations, with varied spots for the dance. From beaches to catamarans, pool parties to villas, the glorious weather and stunning surroundings will be enjoyed from many a POV. Musically you’ll find favourites at the helm, including Dr Banana, Melody and Peach. Seder Adasi will also be returning to the sandbanks, alongside Butek festival residents Alex Ranerro and blsss. Lighthouse and Why?Not will also join next to a bunch of Zanzibar’s own. Featuring Fynn, Fraenz, limbic.sis, Ramez, Ras Moses, Runy, Sumi, SunnySun, Vince and more.
This is for sure a once in a life time experience. Unless of course you plan to go back, which you probably will want to. Whether you made it to the first edition, second edition or both. Tickets for Zanzibar Gathering are currently on General release, with options to sign up to bunch of extra experiences.
