Yoyaku land a residency at Ibiza’s infamous Amnesia club

Yoyaku has long been a staple of the European underground. Based in Paris, its record store, distribution arm, and network of labels have consistently influenced contemporary music since their first release back in 2015.

This summer the collective has secured its first residency at the legendary Ibiza club, Amnesia. Spread across four dates, the programme welcomes a series of vinyl‑focused DJs such as Bruno Schmidt, Anna Wall and Tomas Station.

Amnesia has a long history with tech‑house and techno: Ricardo Villalobos has played there for well over a decade, while Sven Väth and Nina Kraviz have regularly hosted their own showcases. Known for its huge terrace and crystal‑clear main room, the venue has deep roots in dance‑music culture.

Yoyaku bring a fresh approach to the club, focused solely around vinyl and the culture that comes with it, their line-ups give a huge platform to talented artists from the underground.

The curation forms part of Amnesia’s new Third Dimension concept, an initiative that breaks with expectations and gives space to collectives pushing a more honest, diverse and experimental vision of club culture. Third Dimension is “free from pressure, free from egos, free from formulas. We’re not here to comply, we’re here to explore,” to quote the organisers directly. The concept is driven by sound rather than status, providing a platform for devoted artists in the scene.

The first showcase launched last Friday, when Yoyaku welcomed Amsterdam‑based DouDou MD. Known for her fiery blends of tech‑house, often with the Slapfunk crew, she brought serious energy to Amnesia’s main room.

Varhat’s celebrated Hostom project also delivered a special live set, showcasing his unique and earthy sound entirely on hardware. Early Hostom releases left a deep imprint on thousands of diggers worldwide thanks to their timeless tech‑house appeal. Tomas Station followed with his bag of tricks in the main room. A rapidly rising selector who splits his time between Berlin, New York and everywhere in between, his eclectic selections have been heard in almost every corner of the globe. Hugo Martinez and Morgan completed the bill for Yoyaku’s first night.

Yoyaku return to on 18 July with The Bricks label boss and fabric resident Anna Wall, another versatile selector heavily invested in vinyl culture. The legendary Magda also brings her decades of experience to the booth, alongside JNJS and more to be announced. Co-headlining this event will be Dutch artist Carista, and her wealth of musical knowledge will add ever more depth to this already bulging lineup.

15 August marks the third date with Bruno Schmidt & Enrica Falqui, two devoted record collectors and producers with deep roots in Berlin and the spicier end of house music. As well as Jazzy Club co-founder Alvaro Medina who also joins the bill for this unique line-up, there will also be more announcements to be made for this party. So keep your eyes peeled.

The residency wraps up on 5 September with a set from O.BEE, this fabulously unique artist with ties to New York and Berlin, always brings the party with his truly original take on underground music. Karla Bohm and 4Pleasure will also be part of this last edition with more artists to be announced that will complete the final line-up.

You can grab tickets for these events via the Amnesia website.
