Why?Not Zanzibar reveal the remainder of their scorching season program

Continuing Why?Not Zanzibar’s excellent program of events, they have an outrageous run of events over the final two months of their season. As well as some returning favourite’s there will be some brand new faces joining their growing family. With 2024 being one for the books, Why?Not Zanzibar begin 2025 with even more bomb parties that will begin in earnest on New Year’s Day with an after-party for B Zanzibar. Ensuring that there is plenty of downtime after the ensuing NYD frivolities, the combined forces of AirFunk and Low Key Recordings will return to the club on 5th January for another round of high-energy party tunes.

On 10th January the Why?Not in house brand of Refresh will return for week three of their program and will continue to center around more techno and higher BPM genres. This will act as the perfect circuit breaker before the Berlin-based Danube Festival arrives at the resort for a two-date takeover. Taking place on 8th and 12th January, the hotly received weekender that welcomes a raft of the finest artists to their events will undoubtedly be bringing with them more top artists for their takeovers. With three events under their belt, Refresh will be signing off their season at Why?Not Zanzibar on 14th January before the resort undergoes a massive influx of movers and shakers.

Between the dates of January 15th and 22nd there will be a series of joint events ran by SlapFunk, Yoyaku, Half Baked, and Why?Not. These events will range from the opening gathering on 15th, a villa party on 16th, the visually stunning sandbank party on 17th, a club-based event on 18th, a sunrise offshore party on 19th, the Tribes closing party on 20th, and then there will be a much-needed decompression at B Zanzibar on 21st January. The artists that will be taking to the decks across these parties are responsible for some of the summer’s most talked-about performances and include DJ Senc, Enrica Falqui, Johnny Rock, Magda, Monile, Sam Bangura, Samuel Deep, Voigtmann, as well as locals Fynn, Ramez with more to be added still.

Don’t worry, there will be a chance to catch your breath before there is another multi-brand collaboration and this is one gathering you do not want to miss. The combined forces of Norwegian crew Det Gode Selskab, Milano team of PLGRN, and French maestro’s Distrikt Paris will land for a tropical getaway. For their two dates on 26th and 28th January they will be bringing with them a full complement of artists includes A:G, Alexander M, Amine Bentires, Blanco, Escko, Karbo, Phill Prince, Ronya, Thomas Revfik, Tod Louie, Vithz, and special guest Tristan Da Cunha.

The hits keep on coming at Why?Not Zanzibar as there will be a two-date visit from UNUM. Taking place on 29th January and 2nd February there will undoubtedly be many season highlights from these two events as the season end is in sight. Malta success story Sunny Side Up will be trading one island for another when they visit Zanzibar for two dates on 5th and 9th February with Layers Collective coming in between on 6th February.

Perhaps one of the most anticipated visits of the season is that of Butik and Lighthouse. With last year’s edition bringing long-standing memories we can guarantee that there will be even more to talk about with this year’s gathering running from 13th to 19th February with a final date on 21st February. This extended meeting of minds will act as the final extended gathering before Madrid crew Jazzy Club arriving on 23rd February and we will be hosting the swan song of the season on 26th February. As you can see, there are a multitude of dates to choose from. The hardest part will be selecting which periods to be in Zanzibar for.
