It seems like an age since we revealed initial plans for this year’s edition of UNUM Festival. Take one look at the list of already invited artists – if you weren’t aware of the potential for the program, you might consider it already set. A bunch of festival favourites sit firmly at the top. Featuring Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Sonja Moonear, Shonky, Traumer, Priku, Praslesh, tINI, Dyed Soundorom, the list goes on.
And that list has grown even more arms, even more legs. Today the organisers have announced the complete offering for this year and it’s looking like another stand-out session.
The latest names added to the list include fast-rising star Josh Baker, who will be bringing his You&Me brand alongside him as one of the official music partners. Veterans in the game Tobi Neumann and Butch bring a wealth of techno narrative and corners of house come represented by the likes of Gene on Earth, East End Dubs and Mandana. Heavier hitters are also on hand, with Ilario Alicante and Paco Osuna among the newly announced.
UNUM has really made its mark on the international festival circuit already. Last year it became the first major European festival to relaunch operations with full functionality after the pandemic. Despite all the challenges, the shores of Shegjin celebrated an outstanding edition. It’s no wonder, with such a stunning setup spread across pine forests, mountains and sun-soaked beaches.
As UNUM continues to grow, this year brings with it an extension to the program. The festivities will start on Wednesday 1st June and the doors won’t be closing until nearly a week later, on Monday 6th June. Other music partners include After Caposile, Half Baked, Secret Society and Watermelon.
