Miami, we really hope you have been taking your vitamins and getting plenty of rest recently as you are going to need it this week. Having been cancelled in 2020 and again this year one of the most infamous weeks in music known as Miami Music Week could not come to pass again without being recognised by the Un_Mute and ReSolute crews. To say they are taking 2021’s edition seriously is an understatement as each small-scale event during this week will be finely tuned to meet the demands of the governmental accords while.
Instead of a weekend program of events, Un_Mute will be kicking off their MMW celebrations in earnest as of Wednesday, March 24th where there will be an Un_Mute showcase made in collaboration with ReSolute and featuring Chklte, Franco Alexander, Max Kraushaar, and Rafa. This event like all the others will take place at a secret location and will be a free event if you sign up for your ticket at unmutekickoff.eventbrite.com
After the response from Petre Inspirescu and Dubtil’s appearances this past weekend the pair will be joining forces to form an [a:rpia:r] showcase. Aided again by their New York counterparts ReSolute the two Romanians caused such a stir that the Un_Mute crew just couldn’t let them both leave without turning Miami upside down one more time. If you didn’t manage to make either of their sets last weekend make sure you find out where the party is going down on Thursday, March 25th.
For the hardened among you, there will be eggs served for Sunny Side Up after at ATV Records on the morning of Friday, March 26th topping the first three events by the Miami and the NYC-based promoters. The line-up will be a closely guarded secret but what we can shout from the rooftops is that the music will be unreal. What better way to start the weekend or continue your week? This all depends on when your weekend starts really.
Giving the week some more local yet international flavour will be the Vatos Locos. Their hulking showcase on Friday, March 26th will be provided by David Gtronic, Chklte, Taimur, David Berrie, Jean Pierre and Roustam and the event is a three-way collaboration with Minimax crew, Un_Mute and ReSolute. Simultaneously, the ReSolute showcase will take place in another warehouse with Maksim, Connie and a special unannounced guest. There is little chance of any flagging souls at this party as peak-time bombs are the order of the day from the very start.
As with previous parties, there will of course be another chance to sample the best breakfast in town courtesy of ATV Records and Sunny Side Up, again a result of a combined effort between the three US promoters Un_Mute, ReSolute and Minimax.
After charging the batteries Saturday, March 27th there is another jewel in the crown for their Miami Music Week as Un_Mute, ReSolute, Minimax and Alegria welcome back an old friend. Prized family friend and minimal legend Daniel Bell will be joined by a very special guest for another unmissable party. Again this will be taking place in a secret location so make sure you are in the know for this one which will act as the swan song for one of the most gruelling weeks in music. Or will it? We guess you will need to turn up and see how far you can go.
To tops things off, ReSolute will be bringing down the goods directly from New York City in the form of their own Danley Soundsystem for all the scheduled events of the week
